[Cross Country] Cisneros, Godar finish just outside the individual at-large bidsPublished by
Georgetown College men's and women's cross country season
came to an end this past weekend at University of Rio Grande. The Mid-South
Conference meet saw the women's team finish third overall and the men's finish
fifth.
"We've had an up and down season, which can happen when you are young and dealing with injuries," said men's coach Todd McDaniel. "We ran solid Saturday, but it just wasn't good enough this time around." Both teams are fairly young and then the veteran runners have been hampered with injuries most of the season. However, both teams have shown great progress through the season and even dominated on a very tough course in unusual heat at the late season race hosted by Kentucky State University.
