Outdoor events always have an added element to contend with, the weather. This past weekend in the NAIA National Cross Country Meet, Georgetown's men and women dealt with the messiest course by far.

Georgetown College men's cross country runner Tanner Alexander thought he was not going to nationals, finishing one spot outside the automatic bids. At least that is what men's cross country coach Todd McDaniel thought.
