[Cross Country] Tiger harriers show well at conference meetPublished by
Georgetown College cross country finished a youthful season strong. The women finished fifth in the Mid-South Conference Championships, while the men took sixth. Anna Wells became the first all-conference honoree since 2015. The freshman paced the Tigers with nearly 20 minutes flat on the day and a 14th place finish. Another rookie Kate Reese was just a minute back, taking 26th on the day. Sophomore Manon Stovik was on Reese's heels for 27th 21:06. Senior Tori Hafner and sophomore Maddie Waltmon rounded out the top five, putting all of Georgetown's scoring runners in the Top 35. Hadley Mitchell and Jodie Smith tallied the important six-seven runners, finishing in the Top 45. Sutton Godar, Mary Lou Loxley, Haley Forschbach and Courtney Lee joined Hafner in completing their final race for Georgetown. Read the full article at: www.georgetowncollegeathletics.com
