Georgetown College women's cross country will be once again looking to make another stride forward in Saturday's Mid-South Conference Championship meet. The Tigers went from seventh to fifth a season ago and coming off two strong races there is no reason to think this bunch will not finish strong at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green, Ky.

However, before the gun starts the race Saturday, the league has announced the academic honorees for 2018. The Tigers were the head of the class with seven of the 29 female student-athletes.
