Transitions between weather seasons can create chaos for outdoor sports. Georgetown College cross country and track and field coach Lucas Garnett knows this all too well. Not a single track and field meet went as scheduled this past spring and now he's 0-2 in that department with fall cross country meets.

Despite making the trip a week ago to Berea, Ky. and prepping to run, 30 minutes before the women were set to take off – lightning struck. This initially delayed the entire meet before completely cancelling it.

Week two, the race was altered in start time, but the Tigers finally got to compete.
