[Cross Country] Tiger cross country shoe drivePublished by
Recycling has become a better way of life we are all striving for as we find new ways to take old or used items and reinvent them or change them into something new. This past week Georgetown College cross country teams began getting into this effort with a shoe drive. Currently the team has collected 18 pairs of shoes. The worn out and unwearable shoes will be used for the rubber, foam and fabric to make synthetic playing surfaces such as tracks and football fields.
