[Women's Cross Country] Tiger women finish second, men fourth

Comments

Georgetown College cross country teams are proving they thrive in rain. It was a sheer downpour a week ago in South Carolina where Anna Wells posted the 11th best time in school history. Saturday the Tigers took to a sloppy course in Wilmore, Ky. and showed a little rain means nothing to them.

The women were the top NAIA finisher, taking second by a point. Since buzzer-beaters and thrilling finishes are in the cards for the Tigers this weekend, the harriers decided to have one of their own.

Top five runners are the scoring positions, but a team's sixth and seventh runners' positions can be highly important in figuring out final scoring.
