[Men's Cross Country] Tiger harriers race through the rain

Nester altered the course route Friday and then laughed as it dumped a rain storm the entire morning on Georgetown College men's and women's cross country teams were on the trail in Hardeeville, SC. The Tigers did not let it dampen their spirits or deter them from Top 10 finishes as teams on both sides. Anna Wells paced the women, crossing in 19 minutes 38 seconds – the 11th best time ever by a GC female. This along with four personal records, three more just seconds away from a new best, three running their fastest in three seasons and two more had season bests equaled an eighth place finish out of 19 teams.

Manny Stovik, Tori Hafner, Katerina Reese and Jessica Smith pushed through the rain for a new best, while Maddie Waltmon, Alex Morris and Jodie Smith were just seconds from having a personal record. Avery Renner, Hadley Mitchell and Sarah Wiseman ran their best times ran their best times since 2015, while Sutton Godar and Haley Forschbach finished with season bests.
