[Women's Cross Country] Tigers improving one race at a time

Comments

Georgetown College women's cross country took to the course Saturday afternoon in the rain, wind and muddy conditions in the Greater Louisville Classic. The Tigers ran against 44 teams and 360 racers, finishing 29th overall and second in the Mid-South Conference teams competing.

"It was a great day for our ladies," said GC coach Luke Garnett. "I was so proud of how we ran. The split between our scoring runners was two minutes flat. That's impressive."

Tayler Godar crossed in 20 minutes 25 seconds for 82nd, fourth best individual performance of MSC harriers and this after two weeks off. Kristen Just was just 14 seconds behind Godar for 106th place.
